Notes
Training Notes:
• Almost no taxi/wait time to take-off which reduces the student's cost and increases airborne time.

• The school has been in operation for many years and instructors have many hours of teaching time.

• Flying within the Sydney basin, with other aircraft and airports close by, creates excellent flying discipline.

• Cross country flight training to country airports teach the student how to cope with those conditions.

• Local area training is over beautiful scenery and surroundings.

• The emphasis is on learning the flying skills using the radio and doing cross country while doing the theory concurrently.

• Preparation for exams is detailed and well done.

Other Notes
There is a great Heritage Centre at The Oaks – it was an early coal mining centre. Trips to the Southern Highlands areas are well worthwhile as are flights to Goulbourn, Wollongong and Mittagong.

The Oaks is easily accessible from Sydney via the M5.
